Erin Studies

I wanted to take a picture of a typical domestic scene around here. Erin in the lazy boy surrounded by books with a blanket and computer on her lap, and an obliterated dog toy on the floor. It's a nice night for me but I don't know about her. On one hand she loves to learn and take questions/ideas apart and on the other hand I know many times she would like nothing more than to get home from work and not have a single thing of significance to worry about.

That's a pretty accurate description. Especially after a day like today where I spent many hours in court helping people get restraining orders. Oh well. It will all be over soon.

I'm jealous - I want a La-Z-Boy now. I'm sure if I had one, I'd probably never take my butt out of it from the time I got home utnil bedtime, so maybe it's for the best. That's definitely the way to study.

Erin looks very cozy and comfortable. There's nothing quite like a warm feeling being at home. She reminds me of Susan who is studying all the time when she isn't doing church work or caring for her family, like her 86 year old mother. Graduation will come after three more classes are complete. It will be over soon. How soon will Erin be finished?

Much love to the cozy pair.

Geez man, three blogs all around the same time, not sure what to think. Funny how we all have our little things we always do, Joni's picture of me would probably be me sitting on the couch playing Pacman.

Erin is finishing next month. She's procrastinated her professional paper a bit (sounds a lot like my thesis, eh?) and is working pretty hard right now. I know she'll be really happy to have it done.

Very domestic, surely! You go, Erin! You'll soon be done - - -and have a life again - - although I think you're better than most about keeping a good balance. It's true that the worst part of the Master's is the darn thesis.

Love you lots.
