I AM DONE

Well. . . pretty much. I found out this afternoon that all of my committee members have signed off on my thesis. I have some details (paperwork and such) to take care of but it should all be over by the beginning of next week. I can't even begin to explain what a huge weight feels like is being taken off of my shoulders. No more stressing about it before I go to sleep, no more calculating how many days I'll have to do any needed revisions, no more worrying about how much more tuition I'm going to have to shell out, no more of any of that.
My job is over soon and I'll be moving back to Bozeman at the end of the month. I'm looking forward to a little more carefree summer. Hopefully I'll get a good job, but that's a worry for another day.

WoooooHOOOOOO! Good, GOOD news! I'm so proud of you, Joel! - -Not only for all your work and sweat and worry over the thesis, but also for your patience in enduring the whims of a couple of "less than professional" (in my thinking) professors. I'm proud of you, but not at all surprised. I knew it would come! Congratulations! I'm happy you have brighter things to look ahead to. Yippee!!!! Love you lots.

That's very good news, Joel. FREE-DOM AT LAST! You have persevered well; now it's time to get some balance back into your life. Being able to get through the way you were treated by OCD professors deserves a trophy. We look forward to your having some time for just day to day stuff. You are very much admired and loved.

Thanks for all the support and concern you've both shown. I already feel a lot of the bitterness that creeped in over time flowing away. Really, I already feel lighter than I have been able to remember for a long time.

Good Job Joely, you deserve more than a masters degree thats for sure. Thats funny that your blog changed from black to...not black as you described weight being lifted off. What are you going to do with your time? I am not nearly as burdened as you at all but when I finally quit Lowes and move on I will have some time to kill before going back to school, I can only imagine how you must feel. Lets go tee pee that dude's house to celebrate.

I noticed the change in color, also! An important symbol? Feel the celebration!

Way to go picking up on my not so subtle change of color. I do feel like I'm starting fresh. In fact I changed my underwear today for the first time in weeks. HAHA
Just kidding . . . I didn't.
Thanks to everyone for your support. All of those times I felt like a complete moron I could think "Hey, at least half of my family thinks that I'm just fine."
Glen, we should try to figure something out. It's a shame I didn't get down there more, Erin's trips down here and mine to Bozeman sucked all of the will for driving out of me. Kendi is lying about me not wanting to visit, just plain mean-spirited Kendi.

An eventful week - - such highs and lows for our hearts.

Just learned that Jim goes in for knee surgery tomorrow. Ligament damage - - I'm sure you can relate, Paul. We appreciate your thoughts and prayers. Will post something later today.

I offer my congratulations to you Joel! Watching Steve go through it I can kind of understand the extreme relief when it is finished!!

Joel. I hope you will be able to spend a few minutes with Susan and Eric while they are in Logan this weekend through Monday. They're going to see Tyler and Jaymie's place (and Ryan's) before school's out. Her boys will be leaving for San Francsicso for summber jobs right after school's out. Hannah and I will hold down the fort while they're gone. Hannah wants to go ride horses. Dad

Thanks for getting back in time to see Susan, Eric, Tyler, Jaimee, and Ryan. They love to see you. I'm jealous because it has been so long since we've been together. Love, Dad

It was so fun to see you on Sunday night and to play "Catch Phrase!" You are so much fun. It was great talking and catching up on everything in your life. We are so thrilled that you are done with your Master's Degree and wish you the best of everything!!! Thanks again for making a special effort to spend Sunday evening with us. I know everyone else enjoyed being with you as much as I did!!

Good luck with the move back to Bozeman this weekend.

Love,
Susan

Cool article you got here. It would be great to read a bit more concerning that matter. The only thing I would like to see on that blog is a few pictures of any devices.
