BSU!
Congratulations to Boise State on winning the best football game I have EVER seen. What a great way to wind up an amazing year for them and a fantastic (though occasionally barfy) holiday break for me. I walked to work today with a smile plastered on my face the whole time (which made my teeth cold). I love watching the big-guys eat crow and was reminded after a season full of dissapointments by the other Bronco's team why I love sports.

I am kinda glad you didn't stay to watch the game with Glen. We couldn't sleep through Glen's laughing, kicking the floor and, and clapping. I started watching the first overtime with him when he yelled and woke Bess up so I had to go to bed with her. I was actually really mad everytime I heard him laugh because I wasn't out there able to watch it. Then the phone started ringing. Glen didn't get much sleep last night. I think it's because he couldn't wipe the grin off his face either. SOUNDS like a great game.

Hands down the best football game pro, college, or anything I have seen in my life. I too was screaming, chest thumping, dying on my couch (after the interception when I thought it was over), dying on my bed (when it really was over). I have never seen anything like that before. Mark my words, it is a movie script waiting to happen. Boise took it to OU ALL game long. OU got some very lucky breaks to keep them in the game and Boise thankfully was able to respond. I am still basking in the awesomeness of that whole thing and glad I didn’t just turn it off with a minute left.
Awesome. Awesome. Awesome!!
This town is still rockin’.
P.S.
I couldn't sleep till 2 either. Watching highlights, reading messageboards, watching marriage proposal, etc. etc.
That game was off the charts awesome! That hook and ladder play on 4th and 18 was unbelievable. A close second was the statue of liberty switching to the left hand. I feel sorry for those people that didn't stay up and watch that because it's not the same just watching the highlights. That whole final 5 minutes and OT was a highlight. You go from happiness, to depression, to crapping your drawers happy, to reserved optimism, to exhileration.
I think the Denver / Green Bay Super Bowl game was the best I've ever seen, but this is my #2 ahead of the AFC championship game in Cleveland when Elway had the drive. Not #1 because I cried in that Super Bowl game. This game had the best finish I've ever seen. I think it was better than Flutie's Miracle at Boston, or the Cal/Stanford game with the Cal return man crushing the Stanford trombone player coming on to the field thinking the game was over.
I have to say that I even watched most of the game and all of the last 10 minutes and double overtime!
I thought I was going to have to call 911 to revive Steve! He was pretty stoked, I'm glad they pulled it off!
Wahoo!!!!! What a game! I was standing for the entire second half, and was thrilled with BSU's fight and execution and all the rest! I think I woke up Jim, Kendi, it that's any consolation to you. Like Steve, I couldn't sleep afterward - - finally got tired about 1:45. WOW~~~~!!!! On sports radio today, I was grateful to hear a number of sportscasters give the Broncos the "props" they deserved, instead of trying to explain it away. It will be my #1 game for some time!
I didn't see that Superbowl that Glen's talking about but that ending was absolutely stunning. I was BAD at work today, I couldn't stop looking at message boards and sports analysis websites. Awesome.
I went down to Ashton today to buy a paper and couldn't find one in the whole town. I think everyone is pretty excited - - -wanted to relive the moment!
I was jumping on the couch for 5 minutes and Paul was doing the jig around the room as we screamed. That game was amazing!!

We were up until 2 a.m. watching the game - Best game we ever saw - and you guys must feel it even more because you are diehard Boise fans! I think Rhett and I almost had a heart attack, and we woke the baby/kids with our screaming. A David/Goliath story for sure. How about that marriage proposal afterward?
I agree with Steve on the movie script thing, and Glen with the all time games thing, I can't remember a cooler or more hollywood ending to any game. I was reading on si.com about everything that went on before the game in practices and after the game, definately will be a movie...what could it be called?
If anyone knows of a way to get a copy of that game I am all ears
You can download the whole thing on foxsports.com, as mom mentioned.
That was a good game, but I have to rub in the fact that the niners beat the broncos! I hate to say I told you.....................no wait, I love you tell you I told you so!

You punk. I'm kind of glad that I couldn't watch it. I've been depressed after enough games this season.
